Aspen Restaurants to Check Out This Summer

Summer in Aspen is in full swing - Get out and enjoy everything the valley has to offer!

Sant Ambroeus 

The popular coffee shop and cafe, with locations in New York, Southampton, and Palm Beach, has officially opened its doors in Aspen! The coffee bar features an assortment of coffee drinks and grab-and-go Milanese fare, in addition to lunch and cocktail options. The coffee bar also serves Sant Ambroeus’ celebrated desserts, including Gianduia, a hazelnut sponge cake and the Tiramisu. 

Pintxos

Welcome to Bear Den 2.0! Introducing Pintxos, a local Wine Bar serving pintxos (tapas) & planchas daily from 11am to 11pm. 

The Crepe Shack

Mawa McQueen has opened up another Crepe Shack in the Aspen core! The additional The Crepe Shack location will feature the same menu and concept as the one in Snowmass, along with a few tweaks to cater to the Aspen market. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offer everything from local Bonfire Coffee to homemade pastries, quiche, and crepes including vegan and gluten free options. Grab-and-go options are also available. 

The Snow Lodge Presents: ORO Sushi Aspen 

Produced by NYC based Chek Kei Yoshino and team, ORO Sushi Aspen is an intimate and immersive omakase experience with a meticulously crafted menu. Three seatings per night Wednesday-Sundays at 5:30pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm. 

Le Bateau

A new restaurant concept by Gravity Haus has opened its doors. Le Bateau has deep roots in French-inspired cuisine and celebrates the emergence of a new style of French food. The menu showcases oysters, scallops, fluke, olives, octopus, and bluefin tuna from different regions and incorporates flavors from Vietnam, North Africa and the Caribbean, all of which have influenced French food over time.

Sway Thai

Opening soon, Sway Thai will open a modern Thai restaurant operated by Austin-based New Waterloo on Aspen’s “Restaurant Row.” Sway will be open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. 

Down Valley

Hominy

Family owned and operated restaurant inspired by the South has opened its doors in El Jebel. Chef Jacob Burkhardt, a Tennessee native, combines his love of southern cooking with local and seasonal ingredients offering a creative menu of elevated Southern Cuisine in the Heart of the Rockies. 

La Raza

Mi Chola and The Red Onion have combined forces and opened La Raza. A traditional, family-friendly Mexican restaurant in downtown Carbondale. Mixing Oaxacan and Guadalajaran flavors to create authentic plates using fresh Mexican ingredients.
